La fecha límite, que era hasta el pasado 30 de abril, se amplió un mes atendiendo la solicitud ampliar este plazo para las inscripciones, ahora los arroceros podrán hacerlo en el mismo link de la página del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), el cual es:http://regarrocero.ica.gov.co/
El jefe de la cartera agropecuaria detalló que la información registrada en el formulario será usada con propósitos estadísticos y servirá como base para que el Ministerio de Agricultura planifique los programas de Ordenamiento de la Producción para el subsector arrocero.
Además, el ministro Valencia Pinzón recordó que “quien se apunte al Plan de Ordenamiento de la Producción logra un gana-gana: porque accede a créditos en condiciones especiales para la siembra y además tasa subsidiada con las líneas A Toda Máquina y Coseche, Venda Fija y a todos los instrumentos que el Gobierno ha dispuesto para apoyar esta política”.
Hasta la semana pasada iban más de 330.000 hectáreas inscritas en el Plan de Ordenamiento de la Producción de Arroz, con 3.100 inscritos. La apuesta es que este número se eleve hasta 478.000 que es la meta trazada para 2019, teniendo en cuenta el consumo nacional, los inventarios y las importaciones.
Finalmente, el ministro Valencia Pinzón puntualizó que “el objetivo es seguir trabajando de la mano de los productores para consolidar un sector competitivo a la altura de los mercados internacionales. Le apostamos a la productividad y rentabilidad de la actividad apoyando a los productores con incentivos a la medida de sus necesidades”.
