Bogotá, 14 de mayo de 2019. La Comisión Nacional de Crédito (CNCA) en su sesión del 8 de mayo aprobó la creación de dos líneas de crédito con destino a los productores agropecuarios que se vieron afectados por el bloqueo a la vía Panamericana que se llevó a cabo entre el 12 de marzo y el 6 de abril y que afectó a los productores agropecuarios de los departamentos de Cauca, Nariño y Putumayo.
Con el objetivo de solventar los choques en el sector agropecuario que ocasionó, la Comisión Nacional de Crédito Agropecuario-CNCA, presidida por el Ministro de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, aprobó una serie de medidas que buscan que los productores puedan retomar sus actividades.
La primera medida corresponde a la creación de una Línea Especial de Crédito con tasa subsidiada para créditos de capital de trabajo de hasta dos años de plazo a la cual tendrán acceso pequeños, medianos y grandes productores con tasas de interés equivalente a la DTF e.a. para pequeño productor, a DTF +1% e.a. para mediano productor y a DTF+2% e.a. para el gran productor. Con esta línea se espera que los productores puedan acceder al capital suficiente para realizar las acciones de corto plazo que les permita retomar los niveles previos de su actividad agropecuaria.
Adicionalmente, la CNCA autorizó la creación de una línea especial de crédito para la compra de pasivos no financieros para los productores asentados en los mismos departamentos y con la cual se espera brindar un alivio en el flujo de caja para aquellos que tienen deudas con casas de agroinsumos o agrocomercios. La línea de crédito puede ser utilizada por pequeños, medianos y grandes productores agropecuarios, acuícolas, piscícolas o pesqueros de Cauca, Nariño y Putumayo cuya actividad económica, de la cual dependen las fuentes de pago de sus pasivos no financieros adquiridos con estas casas, se haya visto afectada como consecuencia de los bloqueos y manifestaciones presentadas en la Vía Panamericana. Esto permitirá a los productores acceder a unas mejores condiciones financieras y poder obtener unos plazos que permitan su recuperación en materia financiera y productiva.
Para acceder a cualquiera de estas dos medidas, los productores deben acercarse lo más pronto a su intermediario financiero de confianza pues la vigencia de estas líneas es hasta el 30 de septiembre, fecha para la cual ya debe estar registrado su crédito en el Fondo para el Financiamiento del Sector Agropecuario-FINAGRO.
