Los jugadores y cuerpo técnico de la Selección Colombia se siguen preparando en Bogotá para afrontar la Copa América en Brasil.
Los dirigidos por Carlos Queiroz se reunieron en horas de la tarde del martes 4 de junio en la sede deportiva de la Federación Colombiana de Fútbol, donde tuvieron entrenamiento de recuperación con los jugadores que vieron minutos frente a Panamá.
Para los demás hubo ejercicios de activación muscular.
Luego del entrenamiento, el seleccionado nacional visitó la Casa de Nariño donde el Presidente de la República, Iván Duque, le entregó al capitán y representante del equipo, Falcao García, el Pabellón Nacional, en muestra del apoyo de todos los colombianos frente al torneo que iniciará el próximo 14 de junio en Brasil.
Con respecto a los jugadores que no se habían podido integrar a los entrenamientos debido a algunas molestias musculares, problemas de salud, entre otros, la Federación dio a conocer por medio de un comunicado la siguiente información:
Mateus Uribe
Ha evolucionado satisfactoriamente y se reintegró al grupo, estando a disposición del cuerpo técnico de la Selección Colombia.
Cristian Borja
Por su condición médica fue llevado a la clínica para tratamiento de su cuadro de faringoamigdalitis donde se realizaron exámenes complementarios.
Dávinson Sánchez y Gustavo Cuéllar
Los dos jugadores se unieron al grupo después de las actuaciones con sus respectivos equipos.
Así pues, todo marcha al orden del día y a la espera del partido amistoso ante Perú el próximo 9 de junio en Lima, duelo que servirá de preparación para la Copa América.
